Will the item I order look identical to the picture on the website?

In our studios, we work with thousands of individual clay designs to create She Beads® color schemes and patterns. With our Seasonal and Color Collections, you will receive your item made-to-order with those exact same patterns. However, when purchasing Multi-Tropical or Multi-Fall items, the final item will not be exact patterns.

Clay Beads

Our  clay beads are strong and durable and will resist breakage. If your beads start to get dirty, try scrubbing them with a toothbrush and mild soap. Watch out! Newsprint or dark clothing may stain lighter colored beads.

What is the size difference between a ''Large'' bead and a''Small'' bead?

A "Large" bead has a 13mm diameter which is about the size of a gumball. The diameter of the "Small" bead is approximately 8mm which is about the size of a pea.

How much is shipping and handling?

US Postal Service Priority Mail is $7.00 per order.
FedEx Overnight is $38.00 per order.

What are the products shown in the ''One of a Kind'' section?

The ''One of a Kind'' items are unique pieces that you will not otherwise find in other collections. These may be necklaces or bracelets that we believe are especially beautiful but do not fall within our standard product descriptions. They may be new items such as rope necklaces or unique bracelets. Or they may even be specialty items that we have created such as buttons or peppermills. Each item is photographed so that you can be confident that you are purchasing exactly what you see. Since each item is ''One of a Kind'', once it is sold, the picture will be removed and another item will be shown.

Are items sold on eBay authentic She Beads?

Approved vendors (both STAR and Retail accounts) are not permitted to resell product on eBay.  As such, She Beads will not guarantee or repair any items that have been purchased from eBay.  Please be wary of purchasing She Beads on eBay.

What are Couture Items?

These exclusive items are handcrafted by Sandy. Since Sandy’s time at the bead table is very limited these days, Couture items are especially sought after by She Beads® collectors. Each Couture item is individually photographed and will display a description with the size, price and colors. Each item made by Sandy will display 2 signature ''SB'' trademarks next to the knot. Due to the specialty of these items, size adjustments and matching pieces cannot be made. Once a Couture item is sold, there will never be another one like it.

How long does it take to get my She Beads®?

If you have selected US Postal Service for your shipment, please allow 2 business days to process your order. We will then ship your product via Priority Mail which takes an additional 2-3 business days to arrive. 

If you have selected Fed Ex overnight and your order is placed before 12pm Central Time on a regular business day, your order will arrive the following business day. Orders received after 12 Noon Central Time will be processed and shipped the following business day.

Do your products come in different sizes?

Yes. Please refer to the ''Size, Color, Pattern'' link located in the top right corner on any of the shopping pages. Please note that these are the sizes of the bracelets, necklaces, anklets and watches. If you have a 6'' wrist you may wish to order a small (6.5'') or medium (7'') bracelet depending on how loose or snug you prefer to wear your jewelry. All pieces are strung with elastic so you can expect some give.

Sterling

Polish and shine sterling spacers with a polishing cloth. If dirt has collected in the sterling, apply sterling polish to a toothbrush and scrub the spacers.

Can I buy individual beads?

Yes! We have recently started to sell individual beads that can fit most Add-a-Bead Bracelets. See our Square Beads.

What are the earrings made of?

The earring posts and French clips are made from sterling silver.

Rhinestones- Swarovski Crystal

If your crystals have lost their sparkle, your She Beads may be restrung with new rhinestones for a $20 fee.  To keep your Swarovski Crystals looking new, please limit the exposure of rhinestones to water.

If the item I purchased does not fit, what should I do?

Send the item back with instructions on how many beads to add/remove as well as $7.00 for return postage.  Any beads removed will not be returned.  Please mail your resize to: 821 Ridge Rd., Wilmette, IL 60091 and allow up to 2 weeks for your item to be returned.

Can you make a bead to represent my charity?

Email us at customerservice@sbstore.com with the information about your charity as well as the symbol we could use for the bead. You will receive a response with a quoted price for your logo.

French Clip Earrings

We use sterling earrings which may be polished using a sterling cloth. The clips are quite delicate so please be gentle when opening them.

How durable are She Beads?

Our handmade beads are extremely durable because they are created from polymer clay. Polymer clay is not earthen clay; rather, it is a form of PVC (polyvinyl chloride) plastic. The clay hardens by baking at temperatures around 250 degrees. Once our beads are properly baked, they will not break or fade. 

How are She Beads made?

To the surprise of most, there is no painting involved with our beads. Our beads are made entirely of clay and involve many labor-intensive steps. Here are a few videos to show you!

Elastic

If your She Beads have become stretched, they can be restrung for a $4 fee per item. For mail-in customers please include an additional $7 for return shipping. Please send your restrings to: She Beads, 821 Ridge Rd., Wilmette, Illinois, 60091. Although re-strings usually take 1 week, please allow up to 3 weeks for your items to be returned.

Resizing

We will be happy to resize any new bracelet, watch or necklace under 20'' free of charge, however, please include $7.00 for return shipping. Allow up to 3 weeks for your items to be returned.

If I am unhappy with my purchase can I return it?

Of course. Any item purchased from our website may be returned for an exchange or credit within 30 days of the purchase date. Please include a copy of the invoice with your return. Any return after 30 days, will be issued as a house credit.

How can I tell an authentic She Beads item from a knock-off?

Always look for our signature ''SB'' trademarked bead next to the knot. You will find our ''SB'' trademark on all bracelets, necklaces, watches, anklets, key chains and pendants.
